yup.
This is important. Don't get me wrong.
But I just get the feeling that the president would rather look like a leader than a spineless coward. Maybe that's why there's so little information coming out about Benghazi.
Please could someone put @algore out the in the path of the hurricane so he can give us live reports on the existence of "climate change?"

The images of Sandy’s flooding brought back memories of a similar--albeit smaller scale-- event in Nashville just two years ago. There, unprecedented rainfall caused widespread flooding, wreaking havoc and submerging sections of my hometown. For me, the Nashville flood was a milestone. For many, Hurricane Sandy may prove to be a similar event: a time when the climate crisis—which is often sequestered to the far reaches of our everyday awareness became a reality.
While the storm that drenched Nashville was not a tropical cyclone like Hurricane Sandy, both storms were strengthened by the climate crisis. Scientists tell us that by continually dumping 90 million tons of global warming pollution into the atmosphere every single day, we are altering the environment in which all storms develop. As the oceans and atmosphere continue to warm, storms are becoming more energetic and powerful. Hurricane Sandy, and the Nashville flood, were reminders of just that. Other climate-related catastrophes around the world have carried the same message to hundreds of millions.Ugh. The Obsolete media will, of course, jump on this and continue the meme.It doesn't matter that when anyone points to record cold conditions in the middle of the winter, the left says, "That's just an outlier!" They pick and choose their facts, like some liberal flake flitting from one religion to the next.
Over the weekend, Facebook took down a message by the Special Operations Speaks PAC (SOS) which highlighted the fact that Obama denied backup to the forces being overrun in Benghazi.
The message was contained in a meme which demonstrated how Obama had relied on the SEALS when he was ready to let them get Osama bin Laden, and how he had turned around and denied them when they called for backup on Sept 11.It looks like the libs at Facebook have free speech issues when it comes to their President looking bad.
We are in Washington, D.C., just three days before his most recent boss, Barack Obama, will take office. It is so bone-jarringly cold that even nestled over coffee inside a Starbucks, we can see our breath. I resist the urge to pat his nearly whiskerless cheek, or reach over to tighten his jacket against the frigid air. Such a baby face. But at the age of 25, Hughes has helped create two of the most successful startups in modern history, Facebook and the campaign apparatus that got Barack Obama elected. Both were dedicated to the proposition that communities, and the way we share and interact within them, are vitally important. As he recounts his two years as director of online organizing for the man who put community organizing on the map, the existential reverie is understandable. He doesn't know what community means? Really? "Well, I just never think of myself as being in the business of building an online community."He was instrumental in getting Barack Obama elected through the use of online social media and attended Barack Obama's first state dinner, according to Wikipedia.
Greg Knapp on KCMO just had Gingrich who's heard rumors of 2 govt. bodies which have stand down emails and claim Benghazi wasn't terrorism.Newt Gingrich was in town on the local radio station, supporting Todd Akin's run against Claire McCaskill. Towards the end of the interview he had that blockbuster.
— Tom Allen (@Guitartom47) October 30, 2012
“There is a rumor — I want to be clear, it’s a rumor — that at least two networks have emails from the National Security Adviser’s office telling a counterterrorism group to stand down,” Gingrich said. “But they were a group in real-time trying to mobilize marines and C-130s and the fighter aircraft, and they were told explicitly by the White House stand down and do nothing. This is not a terrorist action. If that is true, and I've been told this by a fairly reliable U.S. senator, if that is true and comes out, I think it raises enormous questions about the president’s role, and Tom Donilon, the National Security Adviser’s role, the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, who has taken it on his own shoulders, that he said don’t go. And that is, I think, very dubious, given that the president said he had instructions they are supposed to do everything they could to secure American personnel.”
Sean Hannity was debating liberal Juan Williams Tuesday on the Benghazi massacre. Hannity revealed this on the audio tapes of Tyrone Woods begging for air support on 9-11, “My sources tell me they’re pretty damning, Juan. They’re begging for help.”
The sign would read, "In memory of hundreds of fish who suffered and died at this spot," to remind tractor-trailer drivers of their responsibility to the animals who are "hauled to their deaths every day," according to the letter provided by PETA.Please stop laughing. Fish have feelings too:
"Research tells us that fish use tools, tell time, sing, and have impressive long-term memories and complex social structures, yet fish used for food are routinely crushed, impaled, cut open, and gutted, all while still conscious. Sparing them from being tossed from a speeding truck and slowly dying from injuries and suffocation seems the least that we can do,"No worries about people that might have been hurt in the traffic accident. Just the poor fish that were going to be killed and eaten anyway.
The vandalism happened Friday night outside of two homes with Romney campaign signs in Alta Loma, Calif. The vandals keyed three cars and also slashed the seats in one of the vehicles. But Ken Slown and his wife, who own two of the cars, are actually out-of-work Obama supporters who are staying with the wife’s pro-Romney parents. “I don’t know if they were trying to get a point across, to vote for Obama, but to do something like this is not going to get the point across,” Slown told CBS2 in Los Angeles. The third vehicle is owned by a neighbor who does support Romney.Wow. This is the Occupy Wall Street mentality at work. You're rich. You don't deserve a nice car anyway and you are going to pay for transgressing against what I feel is the correct way of thinking.
The grieving father also described his brief encounter with President Obama during the ceremony for the Libya victims.
“When he finally came over to where we were, I could tell that he was rather conflicted, a person who was not at peace with himself,” Woods said. “Shaking hands with him, quite frankly, was like shaking hands with a dead fish. His face was pointed towards me but he would not look me in the eye, his eyes were over my shoulder.”
“I could tell that he was not sorry,” he added. “He had no remorse.”
Beck said he wanted to give the president “the benefit of the doubt,” and asked Woods how he could be sure that Obama wasn’t just uncomfortable or nervous during their conversation. Woods said it was Obama’s “demeanor.”
Vice President Biden, as he has become known to do, reportedly made a wildly inappropriate comment to the father who had just lost his hero son.
Woods said Biden came over to his family and asked in a “loud and boisterous” voice, “Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?”
“Are these the words of someone who is sorry?” said Woods.
After apologizing for his loss, Woods said Clinton told him that the U.S. would “make sure that the person who made that film is arrested and prosecuted.”
Obviously, Clinton was referring to the anti-Muslim YouTube video that the Obama administration spent nearly two weeks blaming for the attack. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, U.S. Ambassador Susan Rice, Clinton and the president himself all blamed the video at various points. Beck pointed out that the White House is now trying to claim that it has always considered terrorism as the cause of the attack.
“When she said that, I could tell that she was not telling me the truth,” Woods said about Clinton. If it weren't so tragic, it'd be cartoonish. Why does anyone believe that these people are interested in anything but saving their own asses?
When someone draws a cartoon or makes a film that Muslims do not like there are violent protests. And our government and media respond not by defending freedom of speech, but by considering whether it should be limited. They criticize not the angry mob, nor those pushing for censorship, but the cartoonist or filmmaker that ‘provoked’ such a response.Susan Rice via CNN News:
"There was a hateful video that was disseminated on the Internet. It had nothing to do with the United States government, and it's one that we find disgusting and reprehensible. It's been offensive to many, many people around the world. That sparked violence in various parts of the world, including violence directed against Western facilities including our embassies and consulates."When will we learn? The freedom of speech is a right given to us by God and Nature that no man can take away. Are we going to give that up?
We have just heard that Tommy Robinson has been incarcerated in London’s Wandsworth Prison, sharing a cell with Muslims on a wing full of Muslims screaming death threats at him. Also from Gateway Pundit:
This is how the authorities react to those who try to warn Britain of the greatest threat to national peace and security since the Second World War.
The British Government is hereby forewarned that should any harm come to Tommy Robinson in prison, they will be held to account.
The Government has a duty of care to all prisoners, not to go out of their way to place them in potential danger for vindictive or political reasons.
Barack Obama, and his team, in order to show the world that our relationship with them was a more normal one, refused to give proper security to Ambassador Stevens, and four people died in a completely predictable event on September 11, 2012.Over night, the world learned that the White House was told that terrorists took credit for the attack in Benghazi that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and 3 others two hours after the attacks began. The same attack that Team Obama said was caused by a YouTube video. Obama's response to the email telling of the attacks? He went back to bed.
"See, but your president, he didn't point fingers," Michelle Obama said at a campaign fundraiser in New York. "He didn't place blame. Instead, he got to work, because he was thinking about folks like my dad and like his grandmother. See, and that's why he cut taxes for small businesses and for working families, because he believes that in America, teachers and firefighters should not pay higher tax rates than millionaires and billionaires."Of course all the 'tax cuts' are temporary and nobody but a dimwitted liberal who thinks money grows on trees wants to spend any extra pennies they might have. Same for business. The hiring class is in survival mode right now. Hire more people? In the Obama economy? Not unless you've just received a government handout and you own a green energy company!
And, here’s the list of Obama’s top 25 excuses on why his economic policies failed:
George W. Bush
Tax breaks
Arab Spring
Japanese earthquake
Globalization
George W. Bush
Automation technologies
Eurozone crisis
Republican House

George W. Bush
The Weather
Bad luck
Super PAC ad spending

The Tea Party
Unmanned airport ticket kiosks

Businesses not expanding
Americans being soft and lazy
Fox News
Energy companies not getting behind…algae
The president is indeed correct that the average middle-class family has seen its taxes reduced by $3,600, but that’s over four years of his administration. The combination of the (temporary, now expired) Making Work Pay tax credit in the stimulus (up to $400 for individuals and $800 for married filers, over two years) and the payroll-tax cut ($1,000 a year for the average family for two years now) does add up to $3,600. But not least because people think of tax cuts as affecting their income year-to-year, not a sum that the government’s dished them over time, the $3,600 number is a bit disingenuous. The famous eighteen tax-cuts for small business? One time credits and rebates. That'll fix the economy!
His 18 small-business tax cuts are also less than impressive, as they’re not rate cuts that improve incentives, but mostly one-time credits and rebates (most of them are part of the stimulus bill, and per definitionem temporary). And further, while Romney and Republicans are as responsible for this as the president, there’s no singular economic virtue to small businesses, and no reason to offer them tax cuts unavailable to all businesses (Veronique de Rugy has written about how this should be considered just another corporate-welfare category). In the mean-time, the leviathan ObamaCare offers us the 20 new separate taxes spread out over business and humanity.
Mr. Romney: I — I'm — I feel very deeply sympathetic for the families of those who lost loved ones. Today there's a memorial service for one of those that was lost in this tragedy. We — we think of their families and care for them deeply.
There were other issues associated with this — with this tragedy.
There were many days that passed before we knew whether this was a spontaneous demonstration or actually whether it was a terrorist attack. And there was no demonstration involved. It was a terrorist attack, and it took a long time for that to be told to the American people. Whether there was some misleading or instead whether we just didn't know what happened, I think you have to ask yourself why didn't we know five days later when the ambassador to the United Nations went on TV to say that this was a demonstration. How could of we not known?
But I find more troubling than this that on — on the day following the assassination of the United States ambassador — the first time that's happened since 1979 — when we have four Americans killed there, when apparently we didn't know what happened, that the president the day after that happened flies to Las Vegas for a political fundraiser, then the next day to Colorado for another event, another political event, I think these — these actions taken by a president and a leader have symbolic significance, and perhaps even material significance, in that you'd hoped that during that time we could call in the people who were actually eyewitnesses. We've read their accounts now about what happened. It was very clear this was not a demonstration. This was an attack by terrorists.
And this calls into question the president's whole policy in the Middle East. Look what's happening in Syria, in Egypt, now in Libya. Consider the distance between ourselves and Israel, where the president said that — that he was going to put daylight between us and Israel. We have Iran four years closer to a nuclear bomb. Syria — Syria's not just the tragedy of 30,000 civilians being killed by a military, but also a strategic — strategically significant player for America. The president's policies throughout the Middle East began with an apology tour and pursue a strategy of leading from behind, and this strategy is unraveling before our very eyes. What was lost in the scuffle afterwards when Romney and Obama argued about whether Obama called this an act of terror or not was this simple fact.
The day after the attack, Governor, I stood in the Rose Garden, and I told the American people and the world that we are going to find out exactly what happened, that this was an act of terror. And I also said that we're going to hunt down those who committed this crime. And then a few days later, I was there greeting the caskets coming into Andrews Air Force Base and grieving with the families. All the time, apologizing to the world for a YouTube video. Watching the terrorists threaten, even up to the day before the attack, and then afterwards sending Jay Carney out to say that we had "no actionable intelligence", sending out Ambassador Rice to five different Sunday morning news programs afterwards to tell everyone that it was about a YouTube video.
No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.
Obama's policies have produced a smaller economic recovery than any since World War II. This recovery is so small that only half the jobs lost in the recession have been recouped. It's so small that there are almost half a million more long-term unemployed today than in June 2009, and millions have dropped out of the labor force altogether. This is the Obama recovery. If it were a patient, I'd ask the death panels to put it out of it's misery.
Mrs Cooper, a diabetic, was admitted to hospital on June 19 after collapsing with low blood sugar levels. The collapse was caused by her not eating properly, because she was taking antibiotics for a foot infection. The medication had reduced her appetite.
After five weeks in hospital her condition began to deteriorate. Doctors then mentioned the LCP as an option, according to her family, but they insist they were not actually told she was placed on it in her final days.
Mr Cooper said: “They tried to explain about this pathway to my daughters, but I had no idea what they were going on about. I was never invited into an office to have it explained to me.
"If they had properly explained what they had wanted, I would not have agreed to it.”This is in Norfolk in England under the National Health Service. How long before we start seeing stories like that here?
One last thing. Got a story that came back my way. A little dated now but figured you’d like to hear it. Few days or so after the first debate. When it finally started to sink in just how badly Obama did and how Romney was really starting to look like he could win this thing. Jarrett went ballistic upstairs. Inside her office in West Wing 2. Remember how I told you how there is her office upstairs and then Obama’s study just down the hall? How Obama spends most of his time in the study and hardly any time downstairs in the Oval? The beginning of a story that starts after a great timeline put together by "Ulsterman's "White House Insider."
"I take responsibility," Clinton told CNN in an interview while on a visit to Peru. "I'm in charge of the State Department's 60,000-plus people all over the world, 275 posts. The president and the vice president wouldn't be knowledgeable about specific decisions that are made by security professionals. They're the ones who weigh all of the threats and the risks and the needs and make a considered decision."So she's responsible, but look at all the people who she has to oversee! By gosh if I had that much responsibility, I'd need a drink! Someone get that girl a drink!
But she said an investigation now under way will ultimately determine what happened at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, where Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed on September 11.
"I take this very personally," Clinton said. "So we're going to get to the bottom of it, and then we're going to do everything we can to work to prevent it from happening again, and then we're going to work to bring whoever did this to us to justice."And whoever's really responsible? Off with their heads!
I mean we're seeing right now that we're in the midst of a huge recovery - right, because of what this president has done -- pulled this economy from the brink of collapse...Okay, everythings hunky-dory. That's why labor participation is as great today as it was in 1981!
Coal miners at the American Energy Corp. Century Mine said they want President Barack Obama to stop what they term "the war on coal" - and to stop spreading "mistruths" about them.
Miners gathered Friday afternoon to express their opposition to Obama's energy and environmental policies, which they believe threaten their jobs. Miner Mitch Miracle read aloud a letter the miners mailed to Obama that outlines some of their concerns. They're union members, Michelle. Traditionally unions are more liberal, but when push comes to shove they'll back whomever they feel is going to save their jobs.
As Giuliani points out, the reality of what happened in Benghazi is just the tiniest bitinconvenient for Team Obama’s “I have killed bin Laden, quelled the tide of terrorism, and effectively ended the wars in the Mideast” foreign-policy narrative.Indeed. As it is now, do you feel safer in an Obama world than you did four years ago? Al Qaeda is as strong now as it's ever been.
Today the confusion only worsened yet again when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told reporters that her agency was not the source of misinformation concerning the attacks, charging instead that the White House was the source of the false mantra that the murders were spurred by an anti-Muslim film made in the United States.
Clinton told reporters that when Susan Rice, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, made her rounds on every Sunday morning news show to claim the film motivated the attacks, the information had been fed to her by the White House and not the intelligence community in the State Department or the CIA.This is big. Confirmation now exists that the White House, possibly in order to cover up their complete incompetence, spread the story (remember Jay Carney constantly talking about the awful, horrible, despicable, disgusting YouTube video?) that the terror in Benghazi was about a video and not a predictable, planned assault on our consulate.
I can pretty much guarantee that this man photographed at a Romney rally in Lancaster, Ohio, is not in fact a Republican, but rather is a plant sent out by the Democrats as a dirty trick.I recommend reading the whole thing.
- Clue #1: Wearing a “Romney/Ryan” sticker on the back of his T-shirt. Nobody does this. Nobody.
My guess is that this guy also wore a coat when he entered the rally, then stationed himself toward the back of the crowd (in front of the riser where the press photographers are stationed) and then removed his coat to expose the T-shirt, with the explicit purpose of having it photographed.
- Clue #2: It’s kind of chilly in Ohio this time of year, and the guy’s wearing only a T-shirt, while those around him are wearing coats.
. . . aaanndd, Clue #3: No name? A press photographer is going to take a picture like this and make no effort to ID the guy? Nuh-uh.
You’ll notice all of the real Romney supporters at the Lancaster event on Friday are in jackets and coats – including Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. But this jacka$ is wearing a T-shirt.
That doesn’t make sense. He’s most likely a liberal plant. It’s one of the left’s favorite games. But it doesn’t matter to the liberal media. They’ll insist the man is a Romney supporter.
Were they plants? Maybe. The Ulsterman Report has his "White House Insider" who seems to think that the Obama administration was planning something.
"I’m giving you and your readers a heads up here. False flag. The real deal. They will try and control it but make it look uncontrolled. Dangerous. Make it reflect poorly on the Republicans and their supporters."Ulstermann's 'White House Insider' has sources at the top and is accurate.
"Why in the heck did it take so long for all these highly briefed and intelligent people to try and figure out that it actually wasn't a fifteen minute YouTube video? It actually was a 9-11 event - a terrorist attack!"
Now, newly published photographs of Obama from the 1980s show that the ring Obama wore on his wedding-ring finger as an unmarried student is the same ring Michelle Robinson put on his finger at the couple’s wedding ceremony in 1992.
Moreover, according to Arabic-language and Islamic experts, the ring Obama has been wearing for more than 30 years is adorned with the first part of the Islamic declaration of faith, the Shahada: “There is no God except Allah.”Yeah, the ring bothers me. He's had the ring since he was a young man. No, it doesn't mean that he's a Muslim, but at the very least, we can throw it into the pile of creepy things about Barack Obama that make it seem like he'd bend over backwards to make Islam happy.
Sometimes the story of the moment during campaign season has nothing to do with what a candidate says, or even what is said about a candidate. Instead, it has to do with how the media captures a moment. And that includes pictures on the trail. Enter the Associated Press (AP).
The AP on Monday published a photo showing Romney at Fairfield Elementary School in Fairfield, VA, during a campaign stop. And while plenty of photos were taken, there‘s one that’s grabbing attention. It portrays Romney bending over in front of a young girl who has a shocked look on her face. And there’s very little context given.
Mitt Romney no longer trails Barack Obama in the Pew Research Center’s presidential election polling. By about three-to-one, voters say Romney did a better job than Obama in the Oct. 3 debate, and the Republican is now better regarded on most personal dimensions and on most issues than he was in September. Romney is seen as the candidate who has new ideas and is viewed as better able than Obama to improve the jobs situation and reduce the budget deficit.
Fully 66% of registered voters say Romney did the better job in last Wednesday’s debate, compared with just 20% who say Obama did better. A majority (64%) of voters who watched the debate describe it as mostly informative; just 26% say it was mostly confusing.
In turn, Romney has drawn even with Obama in the presidential race among registered voters (46% to 46%) after trailing by nine points (42% to 51%) in September. Among likely voters, Romney holds a slight 49% to 45% edge over Obama. He trailed by eight points among likely voters last month. That's a heck of a swing. By the Pew numbers, Mitt went from 8 points down to 4 points above Obama.
SHOCKER… Unemployment Rate Drops to 7.8%The headline is dripping with sarcasm. Of course we all should realize now that with one of the most corrupt administrations ever that the numbers are going to be cooked beyond all recognition.
The unemployment rate decreased to 7.8 percent in September, a number certain to impact the presidential race.
Pundits have been saying for months this number had to drop below 8 percent for it not to be a hindrance to President Obama's reelection chances.
The economy added 114,000 nonfarm payrolls in the month according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics with gains in healthcare, transportation and warehousing.
Truly shocking in the report was that the number of unemployed people dropped by 456,000 to 12.1 million.
Maybe more shocking, total employment, as measured by the Household Survey, rose by 873,000 in September to 142,974,000, the biggest one month jump since June 1983.
As such, total employment now stands at the highest level it's been since December 2008 before Obama was inaugurated.
But even more mysterious is the divergence in the two surveys done by the Labor Department.
The Household Survey showed a gain of 873,000 people employed in September - resulting in the surprise drop in the unemployment rate - while the Establishment Survey only showed a rise of 114,000.
Hmmm. The biggest one month jump in 29 years. Yes, that's suspicious.
Update: Ed notes that for every job created in September, exactly 3 people abandoned the workforce entirely. The numbers are not adding up. From Breitbart:
Suspicion about the federal government's September jobs report has fallen on Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, who appeared on CNBC this morning and defended the numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), claiming--falsely--that upward revisions of 86,000 jobs were from the private sector. In fact, the new number is entirely accounted for by upwards revisions to state and federal government payrolls.
Earlier today, as Matt Drudge teased the release of “Obama’s other race speech” on his site, media outlets raced to be the first to scoop the others and release the video. BuzzFeed uncovered the “old” video on YouTube — a nine-minute edit of a 2007 speech — and then quickly pulled together previously unseen bits.
So what’s “new” in this old video? A shout-out to Reverend Wright, for one, as well as a previously unseen and racially divisive take on the federal government’s response to Hurricane Katrina compared to 9/11 and Hurricane Andrew, a take which echoed Kanye West’s claim that George Bush “doesn’t care about black people.” “Where’s yo’ dollars,” Obama asks the crowd. ”Somehow the people down in New Orleans they don’t care about as much.”"So what?," many asked. This is hardly news, and besides, you're shooting yourself in the foot by bringing up Bush's horrible response to Hurricane Katrina!
“Now here’s the thing,” Obama continues, “when 9-11 happened in New York City, they waived the Stafford Act — said, ‘This is too serious a problem. We can’t expect New York City to rebuild on its own. Forget that dollar you gotta put in. Well, here’s ten dollars.’ And that was the right thing to do. When Hurricane Andrew struck in Florida, people said, ‘Look at this devastation. We don’t expect you to come up with y’own money, here. Here’s the money to rebuild. We’re not gonna wait for you to scratch it together — because you’re part of the American family.’”
That’s not, Obama says, what is happening in majority-black New Orleans. “What’s happening down in New Orleans? Where’s your dollar? Where’s your Stafford Act money?” Obama shouts, angry now. “Makes no sense! Tells me that somehow, the people down in New Orleans they don’t care about as much!”
It’s a remarkable moment, and not just for its resemblance to Kayne West’s famous claim that “George Bush doesn't care about black people,” but also because of its basic dishonesty. By January of 2007, six months before Obama’s Hampton speech, the federal government had sent at least $110 billion to areas damaged by Katrina. Compare this to the mere $20 billion that the Bush administration pledged to New York City after Sept. 11.The fact is, that the press didn't do it's job. When they supposedly covered this speech five years ago, they left out the more incendiary divisive racist bits because that didn't fit their template. They never do their job when it comes to Barack Obama. They haven't done their job when it came down to digging up the facts of Benghazi, They aren't doing their jobs with Fast and Furious! Instead, they're worried about remarks that Mitt Romney makes at a fund raiser. They are in league with the regime of Barack Obama. If Mitt Romney or any conservative had uttered the racist remarks that Barack Obama had said, talking about "our people" and "our neighborhoods", the obsolete media would have been on him in a feeding frenzy like the zombies that they are.
